Choosing populations

How to make sure you use correct treatment variables for different populations when a subjects planned treatment is different from the actual treatment.

Randomized: Planned treatment

ITT: Planned treatment

FAS: Planned treatment

Safety: Actual treatment

All PP populations: Planned treatment

Free Disk Space or Disk Space Usage

Below are some stats if a user wants to clean-up a specific directory.

df -k /path provides information on Free Disk Space. For example, it says 86% of allocation used.

du -k /path > usage_stats.txt provides stats of Disk Space Usage for a list of directory within a path

/path/test . du -ks * provides information on Disk Space Usage for the Main directories under /path/test

ERROR: Unable to clear or re-assign the library

A code which was trying to assign the path of existing library to SASUSER library throws an error as below in SAS 9.2.

1283  +LIBNAME sasuser "/apps/sas/abc";*path of existing library is assigned to sasuser;
ERROR: Unable to clear or re-assign the library SASUSER because it is still in use.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

Below code is used to circumvent this problem

1660   ods path reset;
1661   libname sasuser clear;
NOTE: Libref SASUSER has been deassigned.
1662   LIBNAME sasuser "/apps/sas/abc";*path of existing library is assigned to sasuser;
NOTE: Libname SASUSER refers to the same physical library as ABC.

Registering a table in SAS Metadata Server

For creating a dynamic prompt in stored process/ EG, a SAS user should register his/her table (i.e., the respective source for prompt). For registering the table in SAS Metadata Server, one can make use of the METALIB procedure.
